Dana Klisanin graduated from Saybrook University in 2003 with a Ph.D. in Psychology. After graduating, she began a small research and design consultancy. Her research examines how the positive use of digital technology is changing the way we think about altruism, heroism, and what we value. In 2012, she received the Distinguished Early Career Award for Scientific Achievement in Media Psychology for her research on digital altruism and the Cyberhero Archetype. Determined to give kids the ability to take part in tackling global challenges, she began developing Cyberhero League.
