We are excited to announce that Cyberhero League will be participating in the Tribeca Family Festival as part of the Games for Change Public Arcade. The event will take place on Jay Street (between Greenwich & Hudson) in NYC, on April 23, 2016. "Offering a full city block of digital and card games, live action games, hands-on building and a parkour obstacle course, the G4C Arcade celebrates the positive power of play. These games are not only fun, they’re also designed for learning and social change!"
Cyberhero League is a scout-like adventure played as a series of Apprenticeships that introduce players to global challenges. Through partnerships with nonprofit organizations, players tackle global challenges and set out to achieve the United Nations' Sustainable Development Goals. During the Tribeca Family Festival, players will be introduced to Goal 6, Clean Water & Sanitation. In-game action introduces charity: water, the New York City based nonprofit organization founded by Scott Harrison. charity: water is "on a mission to bring clean drinking water to every person on the planet." So far they've "funded 19,819 water projects in 24 countries."
